MISS CARTER'S CLASS
Religion
During our scheduled time for Religion the students and I will be going over all of God's amazing creations; his number 1 being us! Our five Religion units are: God Made People, God Made Holy Things, God Made the Earth, God Made Living Things and God Made Surprises. Each of these units has five subcategories that will broaden our love and understanding of all God has provided for us. Be on the lookout for creations your little one has made in connection with each unit.
Daily Prayers
Morning Prayer
Thank you, God, for this new day,
In my school to work and pray.
Please be with me all day long,
In every story, game or song.
May all the happy things we do,
Make you our Father happy too.
Amen.
Grace Before Meals
Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts,
which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, Through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.
Our Father
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
