Welcome to Pre-K

Hello and welcome to Pre-K!  My name is Miss Carter and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I'm excited to watch your child learn and grow throughout the course of our school year.

I received my Bachelor's degree from West Chester University where I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. This will be my 15th year working with children in a preschool setting and my second-year teaching at St. James Regional.  I live in Springfield township and am a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi.

I strive to keep learning fun and engaging for my students.  I want my kiddos to be excited to come back to school every day and learn.  Each day I incorporate activities which appeal to a variety of learning styles. Activities and instruction can include centers, interactive ELA/Math games, using manipulatives to make patterns, matching, dancing, singing, writing/tracing, etc.
